Manufacturers provide fitting instructions and use limitations on the product package, and respirator facepieces come in various sizes to fit a wide variety of face shapes and sizes. A fit test is a protocol conducted to verify that a respirator is both comfortable and correctly fits the user.

What to Expect

You'll put on the respirator and perform a user seal check with our instructor.

A qualitative test agent is introduced while you complete a short series of movements and speaking exercises.

Pass or fail is recorded, and you receive documentation of the test for your employer's records.
